Babbo
Popular Dishes:
- Ravioli $28.00 photos
- Grilled Octopus $26.00 photos
- Pork Chop $39.00 photos
- Mint Love Letters $28.00 photos
Because the cuisine left such a positive impression on me, I went back for more. The oolala was of the highest quality, the bread was substantial, and the oil was exactly right.
We ordered the grilled octopus, and it turned out to be quite delicate and perfectly seared all throughout. Both the squid ink spaghetti and the pork chop that they served us were considered to be their major courses. The taste of the pasta is satisfying, and the flavors work very well together.
Cookies made with pistachios and brownies prepared with chocolate were used to create this rich and sugary dessert platter.
The General Manager was extremely kind and helpful during the whole process of resolving the concerns that had arisen. He intended to make use of the information that was supplied in order to enhance the service that was offered.

Trattoria Trecolori
Popular Dishes:
- Fritto Misto $20.00 photos
- Chicken Parmigiana $22.00 photos
- Caprese $14.00 photos
- Caesar Salad $11.00 photos
Trattoria Trecolori first opened its doors in the year 1991. On East 53rd Street, it first opened its doors under the name Trecolori.
Trecolori began to expand as a family-owned company by providing authentic Italian cuisine prepared with fresh ingredients at extremely affordable pricing. It is believed that Jack and his sons contributed significantly to the business’s success by providing outstanding service.
Phil, Marco, and Victor feel a sense of accomplishment in continuing the family company. We relocated to a larger venue on May 8 and simultaneously extended both their food and their wine selection.
Their cuisine is the product of painstaking research and development, and it includes fresh, handmade pastas, shellfish, and fresh, homemade mozzarella. In addition, we have deals that change daily as well as monthly, and they are depending on what’s in season.

Lupa
Popular Dishes:

- Ricotta Gnocchi with Sausage & Fennel Purée $22.00 photos
- Bavette Cacio e Pepe $20.00 photos
- Crispy Duck Agrodolce with Onion Farrotto $38.00 photos
The fact that Lupa was a fantastic discovery and still had a reservation open was a bonus. We went with a mutual acquaintance and had several appetizers in addition to the burrata.
The pasta was excellent, the sauce was pleasant, and the addition of basil pesto gave it a good spice.
After being presented with a wine selection, the first thing I did was place an order for a stunning white wine produced by the Bastianich Vineyards.
I went with the Lidia’s Braised Greens with Garlic as a side dish with the Crispy Cod I ordered. The ambiance was wonderful to be in!
As soon as my lunch came, I was quite hungry. The onion jam and tomato sauce did not have the same level of heat as advertised, and the cod was not as moist as it should have been on the interior. It’s a pity that this happened since the fish was so unbelievably delicate, and the sauce tasted great.
The greens that Lidia cooked did not appeal to me so much. Although I found them to be little bitter, I thought they were a wonderful addition to a lunch or a meal that was on the lighter side.

Malatesta Trattoria
Popular Dishes:
- Tagliatelle Ragu $17.00 photos
- Spinach Gnocchi $17.50 photos
- Bruschetta $7.50 photos
- Tiramisu $7.00 photos
When I arrived for my birthday supper here, the weather was rather pleasant outdoors. The restaurant was really hospitable, and it didn’t take long at all to get a reservation.
Two individual servings of bruschetta. I can honestly say that this was the greatest bruschetta I’ve ever had. The tomatoes were bursting with flavor, and the garlic had a wonderful aroma.
Garlic bread and butter were the main ingredients in this recipe. It was a delicious beginning to a wonderful lunch.
Everyone enjoyed their meals very well due to the high quality of the cuisine.
This meal was really delicious, however I wasn’t a fan of the excessive amount of truffle oil that was used. The fettuccine tasted like it had just been prepared and was quite fresh.
The sweets were of high quality. Even though they weren’t quite as delicious as the spaghetti, they were still a tasty option. The crème brûlée was our favorite dessert.
Before tax and tip, the total came to roughly $65 for the two of us. The pricing were quite reasonable.

- Tortellini al Ragu $29.00 photos
- Fettuccine con Funghi $28.00 photos
- Octopus Pizzaiolo $25.00 photos
Both the meal and the ambiance were wonderful.
They begin by providing you with some delicious bread, fresh mozzarella, and a salami with a kick. I went for rigatoni, meatball, and prosciutto for my meal, and the prosciutto was so tender and almost melted in my lips.
Since the first time I came here, Carbone has been my first choice when it comes to upscale eating. Since I made my first reservation, I’ve been returning back to this location on a regular basis.
Both the pastas and the beverages were of the highest quality. The spaghetti were especially delicious. The fish was also delicious, however despite the fact that I like it I would never return to that restaurant to get it again.
Carbone is a wonderful illustration of how to perform at the very top level possible.
